Looking for a guide price?
We would love to help, please contact us for more information however unless you have at least a sample drawing we may struggle to give you an accurate quote. It is difficult to give an accurate price based merely on ‘loose’ conversation – I want a building of 25,000sq metres, doesn’t give us much to go on, we can give you a ‘loose’ price on this detail but don’t expect it to be set in stone. It is probably best to gather some details together before you contact us so that we can deal with your request more efficiently. Details such as:
- What size building do you require?
- What eave height would you want?
- What shape of building are you planning?
- What width of bays do you require?
- Do you want supports or do you require a support-free construction?
- What sort of panels do you require (single or double-skinned, insulated or not, do you have a preference for insulation)?
- General accessories you require such as windows and doors?
- What the building is going to be used for e.g. cold store, warehousing, agricultural?
- Is there anything about where the building is to be erected that should be noted (e.g. high winds or other specific climate condition)?
- The environment the building is going to be built in marine or inland?
- Anything unusual about your specific project that may affect the price (it is better to plan now for the expected than to be surprised at a later date)?
These details will allow us to form an impression of the building that you require and fill in the blanks from not having detailed drawings - allowing us to more accurately quote you for your building. Details such as those above are important because they allow us to roughly determine the strength and amount of steel required and cater for the other factors involved in the construction.
It should be remembered though that until we get your detailed structural engineers drawings and your detailed architects specifications, all quotes will not be absolute. |
